The care of the toothless jaw using four implants is a simple (non-invasive) and high-quality treatment of the toothless jaw with which we insert the implants and place temporary fixed prosthetics on them in one day. In this technique, 4 implants are inserted into the bones of the upper or lower jaw, two at the front of the jaw and the other two at an angle in the area of the premolars. With this method of inserting implants, we avoid invasive procedures.

After 4-6 months, the temporary bridge is replaced with a final bridge, which is screwed onto the implants. The advantage of screwing the bridge onto the implants is that it can easily be removed (for the necessary controls of implants, cleaning the bridge or in case of possible bridge repair). This also prolongs the durability of the implants and prosthetics and reduces later costs.

The Advantages of All-on-4 Rehabilitation

  • Improving the quality of life

The advantage of the All-on-4 system is that in one day, implants are inserted into toothless patients and a fixed prosthetic structure is created that gives patients great pleasure in terms of aesthetics, speech, chewing, self-confidence...

  • Shorter therapy time

Simplifying the procedures and reducing the number of surgical procedures significantly reduces the duration of therapy - due to the slip insertion of the back implants, the sinus floor elevation can be avoided and the immediate strain shortens the time from the insertion of the implants to the insertion of the teeth.

  • Lower costs of therapy

The All-on-4 concept is not only the fastest, but also the cheapest choice in the fixed care of toothless patients.

  • Predictability and stability even at a lower volume of bone

Since we insert the back implants at an angle, we can insert significantly longer screws than we otherwise could. A longer implant increases the bone contact with the implant, thereby improving the implant’s strength, which is a prerequisite for an immediate strain. At the same time, we avoid important anatomical structures.

However, the All-on-4 concept is not suitable for all patients. Eligibility is established at the first clinical examination, which is free of charge. If you are not a suitable candidate, we suggest other more appropriate solutions for you. In patients with poor bone quality and consequently lower initial strength of the inserted implants, immediate fixed prosthetic rehabilitation is not recommended. In this case, you will receive a temporary detachable substitute, which is replaced after 3-4 months with a final fixed prosthetic substitute.

In our centre, we use Straumann implants, which have proved to be the most reliable implant system.
